Mechanical Engineering & Computer Science student at Binghamton University. I build things that move — aerodynamic wings, autonomous vehicles, electric go-karts — and document every step so others can build them too.
Currently on the Binghamton Motorsports (SAE) aerodynamics team, running 3D printing at the MakerLab, and building out this site as a full open-source engineering resource.
Formerly: automotive flipping and custom builds, combat robotics (WCRL), quantitative trading competitions.
Operate and manage multiple FDM systems to fabricate student-submitted parts, ensuring print quality, dimensional accuracy, and proper material usage.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot printers through routine calibration, cleaning, and preventative maintenance.
- Use laser scanning and digital fabrication tools for reverse engineering, prototyping, and custom part development.
- Manage print requests in the MakerLab database, tracking status and prioritising workflow for fast turnaround.
- Help students prepare CAD models for printing, verifying printability and recommending changes for stronger parts.
- Develop custom airfoils in Fusion 360 and Ansys Fluent CFD.
- Build meshes and calculate drag/lift coefficients across conditions, iterating on airflow results.
- Produce 3D-printed female moulds and manufacture parts with 3K/12K carbon layups, vacuum bagging, and curing.
- Contribute weekly to design and fabrication for an electric go-kart platform.
- Merge individual parts into a master assembly in Fusion 360 and validate fit.
- Build fabrication capability through MIG welding, notching, surface prep, and printed fit-check mockups.
Design, build, and compete with antweight-class (1 lb) combat robots in a three-person team.
- Design regulation-compliant parts in Fusion 360 and improve structural integrity.
- Print, machine, and assemble successive iterations, validating tolerances and function each cycle.
- Solder and integrate drive motors, radio systems, batteries, and weapon motors to combat standards.
- Refine designs against stress and performance test data while staying inside competition rules.
Run an end-to-end custom hardware brand covering demand generation, build operations, and customer delivery.
- Lead build scoping, component planning, and quality control.
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables across a small team.
- Track sales, inventory, and margins using structured spreadsheets.
